in kindergarten i learnt a song that goes like this- 'Chinese New Year is a happy time; it's a joyous time with lots of food to eat. new clothes, new shoes and a big hongbao...'
haha, it's quite a cute song. well yes the first 4 days of cny has been a happy time.
i'm thankful i went back to sabah for cny this year to see my relatives on my mum's side. i went there because i'm unlikely to have the chance to in the near future. it was a short trip, but very well-spent i'd say. i even hung out with my aunt quite a bit and got to know her better.
the only thing is i didn't get to see my cousins in kl :( but i did see them in december so that's not too long ago. i am more likely to go to kl when i have my vacation.
mmm 9 days to go and i've hardly packed anything :S

i met the hongkong gang over lunch today. i came from another dim sum lunch though, so i ate very little with them. had a good time catching up with them (:
